Just buy height insoles! I’m 5ft 6 and with them I’m average height, 5ft 9!! They only cost £8 or in dollars 10$ about that… but yeah!!! It’s a good investment and people won’t notice them!!!!!! These shoes look stupid!

  6. Critical Panda on May 30, 2020 at 4:48 am

  7. Max Meier on May 30, 2020 at 4:48 am

Hey Brock, how do these compare to Don’s shoes? Since those have the midsole technique, I am wondering if there is a noticable difference in comfort.

  8. Brandon Nielsen on May 30, 2020 at 4:48 am

    They look like girly shoes.

  9. Houdaloth Ali on May 30, 2020 at 4:50 am

    Only insecure men wear these.
Be happy with your natural adult height.
I have friends who are only 5’3 and they are confident in life.

  10. Alex Luthor on May 30, 2020 at 4:52 am

I have recently come across a company called Chamaripa (http://www.chamaripashoes.com/). Apparently this company is in business for over 25 years and makes high end yet economical elevator shoes. They have a product range and designs I have never seen elsewhere and their customer service is awesome. I have already bought a pair and placed an order for 2 more pairs. You need to see it to believe it. Just visit their website and you can also have an online chat with their reps. I would highly recommend Chamaripa to anyone who is interested in elevator shoes.

  17. Houdaloth Ali on May 30, 2020 at 5:01 am

I am slightly under 5’10 barefoot.
But i am Asian, but i am tall for an Asian.
As long as we realise that we live in a world were people come in different heights, we can stop trying to match another person.
There are some people who are as short as 5’0 tall.
But people from different countries have differing heights.
It takes alot of guts to go out and live your life and not be paranoid about little jibes that people may make.

  18. Twin Turbo on May 30, 2020 at 5:03 am

This could be good this could be bad, it’s no different than women wearing high heels, and usually women who wear high heels complain about a bad back.

I’m short at 7’1, my two best friends Shaq and Yao Ming always make fun of me. I was looking into buying elevator shoes so I could finally be as tall as them.

  21. Stem_ _ on May 30, 2020 at 5:07 am

man i’m 6’10, but my two best friends are 7’2 and 7’3, they both make fun of me for being short. I’m going to buy these to reach 7’0. Thanks man

I think you forgot to tell us how many inches you get from wearing them.

  23. Gregory Paul Valdez on May 30, 2020 at 5:09 am

Hey Brock! Thanks for getting information out there! I’ve recently stumbled into heightening. I had always wanted a pair of "waffle stompers" with the fuzzy suede type feel in the color black, but for a long time there weren’t available. A few years back I noticed that they were available in several brands.

Something I noticed is that even though these were not heightening shoes, they did make me noticeably a little taller. That made me curious about "lifts" which I had heard about but didn’t know much about. I got me a pair of 2 1/2 inch lifts that I use with my waffle stomper boots and together it gives me about 4 inches.

I recently discovered Elevator shoes. I noticed that your two videos are not very in depth as far as what out there is available. You cover only dress shoes and only two vendors. There are many vendors with many styles including casual and athletic styles and different choice of how much of a height increase.

I agree heightening is personal preference. It works well for me. Because I am on the lower end of the male height range (5′ 4"), they don’t take me from being short to being tall. It takes me from being "very" short to just "short". My experience has been that people compliment me on my shoes because of how they look, but are surprised when I tell them they are heightening. I believe what it does for me is keep me from "standing out" as being short.Kind of like wearing vertical stripes. I think people find me to have a more attractive appearance without consciously knowing why.

I want to state that heightening shoes are not an alternative to dressing tips. I’m not only short, but I’m proportionally short. most shot men I know have larger body parts (head, hands, arms, etc) Because of that, I’ve worked hard to have a wardrobe that doesn’t fit me baggie. I had my jeans taken in by a tailor for years. The "Skinny Jean" trend has made me very happy because they fit me like normal jeans. I just bought a suit that actually fit because it is "Super Slim" (official sub size).

The main thing about heightening shoes is to make sure they are invisible. There are only certain ones I can wear with my "skinnier" jeans. Others I have to wear with a wider leg bottom.

Anyway, once you do any search for elevator shoes, you start to get ads on web pages with different elevator shoe companies. I suggest doing lot’s of searches and read reviews to find what will work for you.

By the way, lifts are also a great option if you have shoes they will fit in. I noticed that I can fit 2 1/2 inch lifts in Converse.

  24. The01t on May 30, 2020 at 5:09 am

Do these shoes or height lifts effect balance?

  25. Bora B on May 30, 2020 at 5:10 am

Does it really work ? I’m 5’8" and I want to be 6’1"

  27. Ronghui Mr.Ye on May 30, 2020 at 5:10 am

I have question , when you wear those shoes do they feel comfortable and can people tell you are wearing a pair of Elevator Shoes?

  28. shuraim27 on May 30, 2020 at 5:11 am

  29. Hypnotized81 on May 30, 2020 at 5:12 am

  32. Rick Santiago on May 30, 2020 at 5:17 am

Hi! Great video. Where do I buy the shoes?

  33. Tony Oliveira on May 30, 2020 at 5:19 am

I don’t understand humans anymore. I find it to be more embarrassing to be a fake. I have a friend that keeps saying she’s 38 years old, a 38 year old that looks like crap. Or a 70 year old with brown hair and more wrinkles than an old leather sofa. Even that guy that never goes into the pool because his wig will float away, and now, let me fool myself to look 5’10" until someone sees me barefoot and be a shocker to all when the fact is, you are 5’5" tall. Behind your back you are nothing but the on going joke. Must be the brain washed people that are living in a fake world. They are convinced that being a fake is the new pride of honesty. If you can’t love yourself for what you are, then you are all fake to impress others. Why not just go around saying you are from planet Gibanga, you’re 5,000 years old and you are a giant as the rest of the people there are only 12" tall. If you have to lie, then go all out and make your lie more impressive.

we are men, we do not wear high heels

  35. Dron Gupta on May 30, 2020 at 5:22 am

Don’t want these expensive shoes but have to buy one just for that insole so that I can take out the insole and put it into my sneakers.

  36. Barry Allen on May 30, 2020 at 5:22 am

I just turned 16 and I’m 5’10-5’11 and lanky as shit so it would work for me

  37. Stupid young on May 30, 2020 at 5:24 am

    can u wear them regularly

  38. Manoj Adhikari on May 30, 2020 at 5:24 am

Normal shoes with 1 inch is ok, I am 172 cm tall with shoes 174cm… 165 cm to 175 cm is a good normal height for any guy if they have good looks and good body shape….if above 175 to 185 cm then it’s good as well….. which is considered more tally……

  39. Kyle Duffy on May 30, 2020 at 5:25 am

Can you buy these anywhere ?

  40. Jaime eclair on May 30, 2020 at 5:26 am

Why hide it? Just wear heels like Prince. His height never stopped him from getting women.

  42. xFersureMatt on May 30, 2020 at 5:28 am

  43. Mark Cassidy on May 30, 2020 at 5:31 am

  44. Mike Robinson on May 30, 2020 at 5:31 am

  46. If you can't meme, you can't dream on May 30, 2020 at 5:35 am

I have to say this Brock. It’s killing me.
Whenever I see "The Modest Man" I see ‘Modest Mouse,’ my favourite band. This is exacerbated even further my that fact that your forename is Brock, which coincidentally is the surname of Modest Mouse’s frontman’s surname.
I needed to get that off my chest.

  47. peartfaldo on May 30, 2020 at 5:36 am

These things are so retarded.  My friend is 5’8" and is so self conscious about it for some reason.  He has several different pairs of elevator shoes.  They are big and clunky and look ridiculous.  When he wears them its soooo obvious something is in the shoe.  His ankle is like  6 to 7 inches off the ground.       To have to get confidence or self esteem by making yourself look a few inches taller is pathetic.    He will never be a happy person.  Something is always wrong.

  48. Mohammed Gangat on May 30, 2020 at 5:37 am

This can be done with most shoes in your cupboard if you innovative and use some brain power!,why spend so much lol!
