PF Flyers basically grab cool by the back of the neck beat it up and take its lunch money. Calling PF Flyers cool is a down grade! Kudos Joe. Just as an aside i have compared the two, many times. For construction and quality they come out about the same but when it comes to cool, PF Flyers win every single time! 8)

I’m basically an old man, a very old man and i’ve seen shell toe (Adidas Superstar) come in style, out off style, in style, out of style and the in style again (the trick is to stock up on them when they’re out of style ‘coz they’re way cheaper) and i’ve worn them with a hand full of other staples consistently because they’re awesome and i like them a lot. what i’m trying to say is go with what you like, style never goes out of fashion, fuck what other people think. If if comes to a point where every 15 year old girl and her sister is wearing your favourite sneakers then just ride it out they will move on and you can be secure in the knowledge that they are clueless twats that know fuck all about style.
