I’m a girl that just got a job selling menswear shoes in a luxury department store with no clue about menswear, I can’t tell you how much your videos have helped me!
Jamie Merridale – Your statement is quite the oxymoron. Exquisite with a colorful metaphor. Typical of todayâs mindset and the starvation of good etiquette.
Now I know the different kind of shoes.
I wish women’s shoes were as easy and as comfortable.
Wow. just learning the distinction between these shoes has me in tears. thank you.
Mr.Scheinder…Thank you very much for the video. It really helps…Keep up the good work…
So Derby and Blucher style shoes should be laced like sneakers. Only Oxfords require the bar-lacing style. Correct?
Please tell something about
SPLIT-TOE shoes đ
In the subtitles the date of the Oxford is wrong. It’s 1480 instead of 1840
I now realize that most of my supposed Oxfords are really Derbys, even though the manufacturer labeled them ‘Oxfords’. Thanks for explaining the difference.
Thanks a lot. By the way, Shall I choose toe cap or plain tie ?
Which oxford shoes brand do you recommend ?
Which ! Are good in price and can be available with international delivery like Dubai
can i wear an oxford for a wedding ?
Can anyone recommend a pair of good quality dress shoes for about 400 dollars?
A great video on the difference between the shoe’s characteristics, but the pronunciation of the word Blucher is wrong. Blucher was a famous Prussian general, thus the pronunciation should be German- with an *h*: (Bluher).
Amazing that even giant high end shoe retailers misuse these pretty clear terms.
Don’t let today’s liberal agenda fool you. You dress well, walk, and talk properly, many good doors for your career do open for you. It’s not about trendy labels or the expensive things, it’s all about how well you can wear them.
Cool. Thanks.
What brand of shoes and what style did he wear?
In England itâs pronounced âDarbyâ. Thatâs how the town and the race is pronounced.
You Derby here is in some desperate need of some conditioning and shoe cream. Please take care of them and they will serve you even better.
So confused was it made in 1840 or 1480đ¤
In reality most people don’t know or even care about the the difference. This sounds like shoe snobbery.
Can men wear derbies to more formal occasions including white collar jobs?
What is a Cambridge shoe? I see them mentioned on USA sites, but unknown to me in the UK.
super explanation…wow
Really excellent video full of good, useful info. I really wish the brands of the shoes shown was given.
Oxfords not brogues
I have never liked the derby and find them to be unnecessary. If I want to be formal I wear oxfords, if I want to be casual I prefer monkstraps or various boots.
Now I feel a little more gentleman than I was 5 min before.
same music every video
where can i buy that suit?
Can u pls share link for those shoes??
It will be gr88 help for me bokachoda

He knows about shoes but dosn`t know the correct way to tie laces, otherwise a good video
Love the durability of those brown derbies. Speaks well of you to maintain a quality investment.
At the shop today I was talking to the sales man about his Derby shoes though I was calling them Oxford… I feel so uncouth.
Would you recommend bar lacing for derby shoes or cross lacing? Or does it matter based on the formality if the rest of the outfit being worn?
I love a well dressed man. I take reference to knowing quality and style. Thanks for the informative video.
Thank you, Sven for this very informative video. it is the ONLY one to very clearly explain the difference between the three. I look at all your videos. Keep up the great work.
I’m shocked that you say the difference between a Derby and a BlĂźcher is irrelevant.
Wrong information on Oxford
Good. You should speak in ALL your videos as slow and clear as you do in this one.
02:20 when you love Derby the most
What’s the brand of the shoes you bought in 2002? They look awesome.
What is the brand of those derbys?
Painful to see his lip movement so closely.
Very informative, thanks
I hate to ask you because I feel even though other people have made videos for it, I feel that you are optimal when explaining, but is it possible you could make a video on Goodyear Welt v. Blake Stitch?
He said 1840s but writen 1480
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Very nicely explained! I really appreciate it!
