Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes Wear Test Review – Tactics

The Vans Slip-On Pros are a staple in the world of skateboarding, and for good reason. This simple looking shoe is packed with features designed specifically for skateboarding. It has Vans’ Pro Vulc Lite construction for boardfeel and flexibility, and the original Waffle tread gives the shoe lasting grip. The UltraCush™ HD insole provides impact protection and comfort while the Duracap underlay extends the life of the shoe.We had our retail floor ripper Alex Shaffer skate the shoes and let us know what he thought.

these are so hard to find now. I think vans realize they will lose money if they keep making these bc they last so long 🤣

Can you stop having trans skaters review shoes most people skate street so people that skate tranny can’t review a shoe for street skaters

the non-pro versions of these arent that great for skating, after 5 kickflips there was already a tear in the canvas. these look like theyd be much better lol

I’m a 9.5 so I would have to get a 9? Is that what he meant by down sizing?

What about the Lizzie Armanto shoe?

It’s crazy how many variants there are of every Vans show. These look to be suede upper with an extended toe cap area. The Slip-On Pros I have are 100% canvas and there isn’t that extra bit of rubber up around the toe.

I’m skating the same shoe right now. I’ve had them for about two weeks and they don’t even have a hole yet. It took me a little longer than 2-3 sessions to break them in but once I did they were great. Pro tip – If you put the shoe in the microwave for 30 sec without the insole then 30 sec w/ the insole and skate it almost immediately the shoe breaks in almost right away.
