Best Fishing Boots – Must Have Boating Shoes (Bonus Sailfish)

The shoes you wear on the boat are a decision you should not take lightly. While going bear foot or wearing flip flops is comfortable, we have seen too many accidents to advise it. It wasn’t until last year that we found boot that we can stand behind on our recommendation. Wearing this boat while boating will offer you slip and water resistance, while being extremely comfortable. Please comment below on your experience with these boots and let us know your thoughts.

Tight Lines,
Captain Mike

Really necessary? Not! Another fad to go with the stretchy scarf. Yall fishermen are becoming feminine. That boot is bogus. Burn ur feet on a hot day.

So now you need shoes to catch fish? What’s next fishing jock strap! LOL

  3. Gillysaurxx on June 8, 2020 at 6:00 am

How do these compare to Huk boots?

  4. Jason Hamm on June 8, 2020 at 6:08 am

Been debating getting a pair for awhile now. Saw your review and pulled the trigger. Thanks capt. Mike, much appreciated! Tight lines buddy!

Used to love mine….but since they started making them in China they dont last a season and they fall apart….switched to grundens and never been happier …. quality that dont fall apart after 4 months of hard use

Great video review Captain Mike! I recently have tried a pair of shoes designed for ocean activities from a big box store. As you well know wearing shoes on the water while working a charter or fishing for fun they can get nasty. I have tried with and without socks 🧦 but either way they get stinky and nasty.

I’ll have to try these boots for sure. Where is the link to these specific boots?

  7. J T on June 8, 2020 at 6:10 am

Love this boot. Actually wearing them in my avi. They last for several seasons and are a must for long runs and long days. Wish they would expand their line beyond grey and blue though. The new Huk’s look pretty good, but I haven’t tried them yet. These are tested and true.

    Can I be your girlfriend?

Seriously though, you remind of a young guy I’ve been fishing with out of Kona several times. Enjoy your videos.

It kills me you live in such a populated area and there appear to be so many fish and not many people fishing. Can you explain kite fishing? It isn’t done where I live. Curious all the whys and whyfores.

This guy should have more subscribers. He is very informative and goes all out in his videos with drone shots and all.

  11. Jacob Musselman on June 8, 2020 at 6:18 am

I like mine a bit big, I have a size 11 and I’m a 10 just to make it more comfortable

  14. Andrew Fernandez on June 8, 2020 at 6:21 am

I have the all white camo they are the best

  15. Crashdummy on June 8, 2020 at 6:24 am

I can’t agree more about the boots. The only con I have had with the boots is that the pull tabs will wear on your skin so I have to wear longer length socks to cushion it.

  16. Visit FlagrantViolationsDotCom on June 8, 2020 at 6:25 am

What would you recommend for shore fishing/wading?

  17. Offshore Office Fishing Channel on June 8, 2020 at 6:25 am

Hard to believe your feet won’t sweat, hard to believe they won’t wind up smelling like bad cheese!

  22. DB3 on June 8, 2020 at 6:33 am

    Love the tail walk!

  23. RDLONG30 on June 8, 2020 at 6:33 am

  26. peterk814 on June 8, 2020 at 6:41 am

If it rains the water goes right in. Those boots are fine if you’re wearing skins. Also not a fan of the China made xtratufs. Glad I had a stockpile of us made ones

  27. skunked again on June 8, 2020 at 6:41 am

I have a pair, love them. Except they do stink if the insides get wet. Do you have the same problem?

  28. Jon Cooper on June 8, 2020 at 6:41 am

Review is spot on and wifey loves her seafoam colored boots. They really are great. I actually that exact pair. I would just caution everyone about using them for yard work and dedicate them for just the boat and water. They certainly worked great but I had a bear of a time getting grass stains off them. Just an fyi.

  29. 0828daniel on June 8, 2020 at 6:41 am

What if water goes in the boot, water proof!! You’ll ha e soggy feet lmao!!!!

  30. Riley Beecher on June 8, 2020 at 6:43 am

nice triple! I’ve got the low cut mesh xtratuf’s. Held up well so far.. they obviously keep your feet less dry but much cooler than the 6" boot. Prefer to wear socks like you, but still very comfortable if you forget your socks on shore..haha

  31. Adventures with Frodo on June 8, 2020 at 6:44 am

    No link.

  32. puzer1 on June 8, 2020 at 6:45 am

….your feet must smell like a barnyard after a day of fishing in those things…those look great but there is no way they’re suited for 10hrs on a boat in FL in august…

  33. ryro robers on June 8, 2020 at 6:46 am

anybody reading this should look up "live bottom" deck boots. i tried them all. they win. best of all i got them for 40$

  35. jpat99 on June 8, 2020 at 6:54 am

Great review, scenery, and editing. Congrats on 10k as well.

  36. Chuck Wheeler on June 8, 2020 at 6:54 am

Without a dought that is the best fishing boot, I have ever worn. I used to wear the Rugged Shark boot because of the grip. They were hot even up here in the panhandle. I found my first pair in Port St. Joe at Bluewater sport shop. Great info to share with everyone Capt Mike. Keep up the wonderful videos. I enjoy the more info on how and why you do what you do, instead of watching someone just catch fish. Thanks for sharing your time with us.

  37. CaptIB48 on June 8, 2020 at 6:54 am

Wish they made them in wide and larger sizes.

  38. allen rodon on June 8, 2020 at 6:56 am
