How New Balance Sneakers Are Made | The Making Of
New Balance wasn’t always considered the “cool shoe,” as most sneakerheads turned towards Nike or Adidas. However, as of late, more and more people are choosing New Balance sneakers for its comfort and support. Star athletes like Coco Gauff, Kawhi Leonard, and Sadio Mané are turning towards the brand as their go-to sneaker on the court and on the field. Insider’s Fabiana Buontempo visited New Balance’s factory in Lawrence, Massachusetts to learn what goes into making these sneakers.

How New Balance Sneakers Are Made | The Making Of
A sneakerhead like me knows that new balance make the best crafted shoes specially the ones make in UK and USA….also Diadora handcrafted in Italia. I would never pay 200 to 300 dollars shoes made in china by someone who probably wants to jump out the window because is being overworked.
Never knew how comfortable New Balance were. Then I bought a pair and never looked back!
Made in USA. They have had my business for decades.
Did anyone also get pissed of when she pronounced Mane " meneh?"
they produce in Vietnam with poor workers like everyone else. These are just a few very expensive models that are produced in US. At least they give you that option. But they act like they produce everything in the US or England. Fake BS.
Quality DOWNHILL. Last pair I bought started falling apart after wearing them about 10 times. I’m not wasting anymore money on NB. I now prefer: Brooks, Saucony, and Hoka.
First 10 sec of the video
Them: "what do these 3 athletic have in common?"
Me: "They black"
I ordered new balance but I returned them , the reason was, it was so uncomfortable , I couldn’t wear them
The way she pronounced “Mané” was nasty
Just spent $240 on grey 992. The shoe will last me 10+ years with every day use. I guarantee it.
NICE AD
I really enjoyed that video. However, I would like to know more about the different New Balance trainers (numbers) for different activities.
I don’t care what brand it is as long as its comfortable for my feet when I wear them. But I do like the fact that some of NB are still made in U.S. Of course you pay a little more but the shoes are much better in term of quality compare to the one made in sweatshops.
What about Yeezy ? If yes link please
The ever loving New Balance shoe that many love so dearly, especially me.
I’ve always wore, totally rated new balance and always will.
waitttt N for New Balance not Nike ? i think N is another symbol for Nike, All this time I’ve been looking for this shoes in the wrong store..
Massachusetts!!
Made with a side of hate
NB CEO is a Trump supporter
I mean they can be good but they really be ugly
I’m gonna buy some right now to be frankly honest.
Just picked a pair of 990v5 and they are amazing!
Lol she can’t even pronounce «employee» correctly. Hate her accent. Americans…
Anyone know what the black shoe with the skeleton out sole is called?
Great! Just boycott products made in China.
I can vouch for their comfort, fit n support. One of the best trainers I have ever worn
LOL…FYI: whether Virginia or DC or NYC New Balance been hot …since the early 80s…y’all late!!!!
i didnt know that Mane was the famouse painter monet
I worked in a factory like that, no thanks.
The only sneaker company that makes a woman’s shoe wide enough for my feet. I’ve been buying them now for about 15 years.
Some are made in the US and some in the UK. Most of production is in the far east though as far as I am aware.

I used to buy mines at their factory store in Brighton MA. Never realized their had a plant in Lawrence , MA, a very blue collar town dotted with turn of century mills. As far as I could conceive, they were made in Maine.
Most of their shoes are still made in the USA although I read about some being made in Asian countries.
New Balance, then Stride Rite, and the most expensive classics tour style golfing shoes by Footjoy were made in the US. It’s a pity Footjoy closed its Brockton MA plant.
There are US towns that deserve plant relocation to boost local economic activity. Look at US makers like Nokona baseball mitts in TX , Red Wing Shoes in MN, Lincoln welding equipment in Cleveland OH, hand tools made by Snap On in Kenosha WI. These are best of breed and made in the USA, I presume.
When minivans were popular, places around Ontario Canada would churn thousands of them.
There is still a place for North America manufactured goods.
She murdered those pronounciations
Nastase algeria
How’s Brooks ?
NB shoes are just sooo ugly
I absolutely love my New Balance shoes. They’re very comfy and stylish. I am thankful that they make shoes that will actually fit my feet.
When I ran I wore new balance 990. Great fit and a great shoe. But theses athletes are being paid to wear the sneakers. I sorry they went to endorsements now.
Just ordered a pair.
NB should thank DC
could’ve made more effort on how to pronounce names
That voicecrack 4:53
Made in USA!! I’m buying it for my family for sure.
I don’t like them cause they remind me of pe teachers
Rumor has it Chevy is adding a pair to every C8 in the frunk…
